A crochet centerpiece

Ever since I read about African flowers in crochet, I wanted to do table placement mats using them. So just tried one. It is small for a table placement mat, but big enough for a centerpiece. I would love to make a set of  four table placement mats with matching coasters. Sometime in the future......

I made another mobile pouch after a very long time. Using two contrasting colours, this is a tad different from the others I have made in the past.

A flower burst bag

Summer is upon us and my plants are flowering; jasmine, roses, and orchids. So here's a flower burst bag for the summer!

Finally!!! India wins the World Cup!

This is something we all have been waiting for ever since we were old enough to understand the game of cricket. In India, cricket is a religion and Sachin Tendulkar is God! People of different castes, creed, language, region, come together as one whenever the game of cricket is on. There is no barrier! Cricket is the biggest passion of the people in India. Everyone one from the young to the old, rich or poor, educated or uneducated...nothing brings them all together other than cricket and a World Cup win is what we all had been waiting for since 1983, when India won the World Cup for the first time. Last night it was a dream come true! Everyone wanted this win for Sachin who is easily the greatest player of cricket in the world. Despite having almost every record to his name, only the World Cup had eluded him for the last 21 years and last night this dream came true! Congratulations Team India!! You have made us all very very proud!!! Jai Ho!!!

More bags!

Its been nearly two months since I last posted pictures of my creations. As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, recently I have been getting orders for the same colour and patterns of my previous bags and clutches. Finally, I have made something new!
